Dr. Vineta Aukone
Dr. Vineta Aukone has been working as an embryologist in the field of infertility treatment since 2008. Her continuous professional development in reproductive medicine is demonstrated by her ESHRE Senior Embryologist certification, first obtained in 2019 and subsequently renewed annually. In 2016, she also received the ESHRE Clinical Embryologist certification.
Dr. Aukone completed her residency at the University of Latvia Postgraduate Education Institute in the specialty of Laboratory Medicine in 2000, receiving her Laboratory Physician certification the same year. She earned her Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Latvian Medical Academy in 1997.
She regularly updates her knowledge and hones her skills in embryology and medical laboratory science by attending national and international conferences, seminars, practical training courses, and reviewing the latest specialized literature and research.
Dr. Aukone is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
