The founder of Embrions, gynaecologist-reproductologist Dr. Gints Treijs, was the first physician in Latvia who, 30 years ago, began conducting medically assisted reproduction procedures and thus established a new medical field in our country.
On the 36th anniversary of the Restoration of the Independence of the Republic of Latvia, State President Edgars Rinkēvičs awarded Embrions founder, gynaecologist and reproductive specialist Dr. Gints Treijs, the highest state honor of Latvia – the Order of the Three Stars.
The CEO of Embrions, gynaecologist-reproductologist Dr. Zane Vītiņa, has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Ministry of Health for her contribution to addressing demographic challenges in Latvia and worldwide. She has also been recognized by EuroHealth Leaders as one of the Top 5 IVF pioneers in Europe.
