The IUI success rate is dependent on several factors. If a couple does an IUI procedure several in consecutive months, the success rate may reach up to 20% per cycle. For women up to the age of 35 – an average of 15% per cycle.
Success mainly depends on the diagnosis of infertility but is also impacted by the age of the woman and if and what ovulation-stimulating drugs are used in the cycle.
Even though IUI is less expensive (the costs can be found here) and a less invasive or less artificial procedure, the pregnancy rate is lower than with the IVF procedure.
The doctor will decide which infertility treatment procedure is appropriate in your case.
